Angela Kaufman

Her fame was established by her portrait artistry over a three-year period in Italy. Her work was recognized by her selection for Rome's Accademia of San Luca. Angelica Kauffman, who spent just 15 years living in England, had an important impact on London's Art Scene in the 18th century. She became the first of two women to be founding members of The Royal Academy. Angelica Kauffman died on the 5th November 1807, when she was the age of 65.
