Jana Kramer bio

Singer and actress and writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the team of One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. The first two albums she made as a country artist included in episodes of the series helping her debut album, titled "Eponymous," in the top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed into the Top Ten. Her decade was rounded out by appearances in Dancing with the Stars. Released in 2021 was The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised on country music. Though she had the acting and recording professions but her first screen appearance came in the independent horror film Dead/Undead (2002) in the midst of being in high school. Through the years she was on numerous shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the regular role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer next appeared in 90210 for the character of Portia Randson between 2008 and 2009, and also as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. She then joined One Tree Hill's ensemble in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until the middle of the final season of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary love song from the country genre, I Won't Let Go. It was featured later on Jana Kramer's debut full-length in the mid-2012 timeframe. The track ranked fifth among Billboard Top Country Albums. She continued to act in films like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her followers. Kramer has released her sophomore album Thirty One on Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy The album, as well as The duo track that Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach #3 at the top of the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the chart for country albums. The album was released after a period of two months during the 22nd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was fourth. Also, she scored an adult contemporary smash by singing the track Feels Like Christmas, featuring Straight No Chaser.
