Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford, born in Bloomsbury (London), was raised by her mother, her grandmother, and godparents. Her father abandoned her family. As a child, she battled an obsessive-compulsive disorder that caused anxiety due to associations with words. Ford was interested in the field of acting during her teen years, and was a part of the National Youth Theatre. She got into the Sylvia Young Theatre School. But after just one week she decided it wasn't suitable for her. Ford decided to apply for the Central School of Speech and Drama which she was eventually able to get an acceptance on her fourth attempt. Shaun Dingwall was one of Ford's fellow students. He went on to get recurring roles as Pete Tyler and Doctor Who. Ford could graduate in 1993, but she made her television debut in the 1992 episode Surgical Spirit. She adopted the stage name Catherine Tate. Through the Nineties, Tate could be watched on television in programs including The Bill, Men Behaving Badly and London's Burning. The regular theatre work she performed led her to join The Royal Shakespeare Company, for the 2000-2001 season. Tate started to get noticed due to her stand-up comedy in the year 1996.
