Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America, is an actor and a singer. The parents of Kristen Bell were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods, to an Polish mother and father that has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish and Irish. Kristen developed a talent for the arts at a young stage. When she was in 1992, she was the first to go to an audition. The audition was for the role of Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom as an agent when she was thirteen years old. Then, she was selected for newspapers ads as well as commercials for TV. In addition, she is beginning private acting lessons. Bell played a small part, uncredited for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she was involved in music and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the leading Dorothy part. Following graduation, Bell moved into New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts and studied musical theater. Bell quit university in 2001, and began taking on the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her debut on the credit screen with the role of Becky Pootie Tang. The film was cut, however the scene she played was removed from the film and she only appears as a credit. Bell appeared in Broadway in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
