Her grandfather was a radio comedian Bob Elliott. Her younger brother is the actress Bridey Elliot; they were both raised together in Wilton. The second time she attended the high school of Immaculate High School in Danbury, Connecticut, where she participated in school plays and musicals. After finishing Immaculate High School 2005, she enrolled at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. She was kicked out of the first week of her first year.
